Did you know that socks are the number one requested item when an individual or family seeks shelter at the Roanoke Rescue Mission? Such a basic item yet there is a need.

Beginning September 1 thru September 24, the RVAR will be conducting a Sock Drive to benefit the Roanoke Rescue Mission. You can drop off NEW socks at the RVAR Office, 4358 Starkey Road from 8-4:30pm, M-F. Drop off will be in the lobby.

On your next shopping trip drop a new package of socks in your basket and then bring them by the RVAR Office. This small gesture will make a big impact on someone.
