Regardless of the season, there is always the possibility of a power outage. When this happens, your display key may not automatically sync as it should when power is restored.   If you place your key on the cradle and no lights illuminate on the cradle, this indicates the cradle has become locked and will not function.  There are two methods of resetting your Display Key Cradle.

  1. Unplug the cradle’s power and phone cord from the back, wait approximately 10 seconds and reattach both.
  2. Insert one end of a paper clip into the reset opening on the back of cradle and press the reset switch inside to reactivate the cradle.
