When you attempt to complete
an online form (such as search criteria in RE/Xplorer), are you
constantly annoyed by previously used search criteria popping up?
If so, you can disable a feature called AutoComplete. Follow these
instructions:
- Open Internet Explorer
- From the browser menu (File, Edit,
View, Favorites, Tools, Help) click on TOOLS.
- Click on INTERNET OPTIONS.
- Click on CONTENT.
- Click on the AUTOCOMPLETE button.
- Uncheck the FORMS box.
- Click on the CLEAR FORMS button.
- At the Internet Options prompt, click
OK.
- Click OK two more times to return to
the normal browser screen.
At the completion of these nine steps,
previously used criteria should no longer appear while completing a
form. |
