Mary Dykstra of REMAX Valley, REALTORS® was installed as VAR’s Vice President. On the same day at the convention, Mary Dykstra was elected to serve as an NAR Director.

More and more Realtors are advertising online – promoting themselves or their listings – using websites, craigslist, email, Facebook etc. Yet many Realtors are not aware of the online advertising disclosure requirements already in effect by Virginia’s Real Estate Board and NAR’s Code of Ethics. RVAR's 2011 - 2012 Board of Directors has 4 open Director positions. The 5 candidates for these positions are shown below. Ballots were mailed to offices on October 20th. Vote for up to 4 candidates. Ballots must be received in the RVAR office (by mail, or hand carried) no later than 4:30 PM on Monday, November 15th (no faxes or emails).
