RVAR Announces Candidates for 2013-2014 Directors |
| RVAR's 2013-2014 Board of Directors has 4 open Director positions. The 5 candidates for these positions are shown below. Ballots are being delivered to offices on Monday, October 22nd. Vote for up to 4 candidates. Ballots must be received in the RVAR Office (by mail or hand carried) no later than 4:30PM on Wednesday, November 14th (no faxes or emails). Dykstra Installed as VAR President |
 | The Virginia Association of REALTORS installed Mary Dykstra of MKB, REALTORS to lead the 28,000 member organization. The installation occurred on October 6th at the VAR Convention. Mary will serve as VAR's 2013 President. | Mary Dykstra

VREB Issues Agency Guidance Document |

At its meeting on September 6th, the Virginia Real Estate Board approved an agency guidance document to clear up some confusion amongst licensees as to when a written brokerage agreement is required pursuant to the July 1st changes in the Virginia agency law. |
