 The 2022 Community Service Committee is back and needs your help by volunteering just a little of your time during the holiday season! The Community Service Committee will again be volunteering with the Community Christmas Store. The dates for this year's Christmas Store are Friday, December 9th, 12PM-2PM or 2PM-4PM. The site of this year's Community Christmas Store is in Spartan Square in Salem. The Community Christmas Store serves families in Roanoke County, Vinton, Salem and Craig County and its mission is to assist families in need in a dignified manner during the holiday season. In 2019, over 966 people were served during the two days of the store operation, and it is operated solely by volunteers. Register online here or call RVAR (540-772-0526) to have us register you. |
